Bio
As a first-generation student, I never thought I would be in a position to receive this honor. Yet, UC Davis and my research on engineering probiotics and its relations to healthcare have opened so many doors for me—including my acceptance to the UCLA School of Dentistry. I now look forward to attending dental school in the Fall and continuing to integrate my passions in science with healthcare to make an impact on others. In the meantime, I hope to continue growing both academically and professionally.
