Effective July 1, 2023, Miriam Markum is promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Teaching (LSOE) having obtained tenure at the University of California, Davis. The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics is delighted to have such a talented and committed colleague, who has defined what can be accomplished in the new academic position of Assistant Professor of Teaching.
