Molecular and Medical Microbiology students can study abroad while earning UC credit and continuing to make progress toward their degrees. International study offers a chance to examine microbiology in new scientific, environmental and cultural contexts while developing the cross-cultural perspective needed in an increasingly collaborative field.

Programs range from short-term, faculty-led courses to quarter-, semester- and year-long study at universities around the world. Because course offerings and degree requirements vary, students should begin planning early and consult with both a Biology Academic Success Center advisor and UC Davis Study Abroad. Financial aid may be available for eligible programs.
